Wednesday 6/20/12

Well at least I know I have one follower!  Last night Grace admonished me for failing to post so here is a quick update of our day yesterday.  It was a little frustrating for me as I waited for them to come install the internet they were never supposed to disconnect, but did and then after the install they disconnected it again!!  Finally had it fixed about 5:30.  Cici enjoyed a great day with Dottie Charbonnet who took her all through Teton National Forest.  Thanks to Dottie for being a wonderful hostess in the valley!!  They crew had b-fast with the Newburger boys at Nora's, checked out the soccer fields at the High School (where they met some really nice older boys who were there playing) and we wrapped up the day grilling steaks on the deck.

When I woke up yesterday morning the thermometer said it was 47, but the water from the sprinklers froze the grass.  Real temp undetermined!

 Christian captured 2 hot air balloons from our deck.  They launch from Teton Village with summer tourists.  Cool thing to do.

 Barrett and Jane were hard at work carrying wood up to the deck for our next fire.  The homeowner chopped down an old willow and the pile of wood is at the end of the yard.

 This is just one of the views from the soccer field at the Jackson High School (which happens to be across the street from Jackson Hole Community School where Grace will go in the fall).  There is also a great community playground designed for 5-12 yr olds.  Jane was in heaven.

 This morning when I got up this was the view from my bathroom window.  The steam was pretty cool rising off the pond behind our house.
