On Sunday afternoon we set out to hike up the Old Pass Road (back in the day it was the way across into Idaho) to Crater Lake. It was a pretty ambitious hike for our small people, but they did great. Actually the real award goes to the Newburger's dog, Logan, who is 15! That's 105 for you and me!!
June and I traded off taking these shots.
Once again the pictures can not do justice to the magnificence of this part of the country. This view was off the left hand side of the road. There was a stream running below, which was the hike June and Diana did Sunday morning.
This is the view behind us as we headed up and what we go to look at on the way down.
Glory Bowl. In the winter this is a favorite of good skiers. Bronson, Christian and Owen hiked it on Monday morning.
