These are wildflowers picked by Christian, Cici, Tullis and Jane this afternoon along the Snake River. Very pretty, but don't smell them! My new "office" is wonderful. It was off and on drizzling today and I could watch the weather come over the mountain. Cool. Christian took Tullis and Jane to the Jackson Rec Center where they checked out the swim team here. Looks like it is going to work out. The aforementioned group also checked out Teton Village where they bumped into someone who said the rain in the valley was a virtual blizzard at the top of the mountain. Guess that explains why the peaks have disappeared!
Moose correction. OK. Below is the "mama" the "baby" was following, but apparently I got it wrong. The below moose is a bull and the "baby" is actually a yearling that just got kicked out by his/her mom. Apparently moose raise their offspring for one year and when the new baby arrives (sometime between May15-June15) the current child is driven off. Ouch!
Christian is sending me more pictures to load so will get them up asap!
Have a wonderful year! I am envious! I have always wanted to do what you and your family are doing. I'm happy I can live vicariously through you!
