Jenny Lake

On Saturday morning Christian, the kids and I took the boat across Jenny Lake and hiked up to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point.  They have done this hike before with June and the boys, but it was my first time!  Awesome hike.  Only complaint is that the trails were crowded.  If you are going to do this in the summer I would suggest doing it on a weekday and either starting early or waiting until late afternoon.  Be aware though that the last ferry back to your car is at 7:00, but it's a flat 2 mile hike around the lake if you miss the boat!  Here are the pictures we took.

On the boat they ask you to please not feed the wildlife.  Promise someone has been feeding these guys!  They would crawl in your lap if you let them!  A Golden Mantled Ground Squirrel.

Dinner with Peter and AJ

OK.  Clearly we aren't very good at this yet!  My cousin, Peter Becker, and his wife, Amy Julia, were here for a a friend's wedding and we got to have dinner with them in between their commitments.  We went to a great place called The Kitchen.  Good and company were excellent, but we FAILED to get a picture!!  Sure it won't be the last time.  I did ask them to take a "selfie" and send it to me so I could post it.  Still waiting...

Snow King Hike

On Friday morning Christian and Emma hiked Snow King.  Here are the pics they took!

BTW...Snow King is the ski mountain in town.

Blended Bossier/Gambel Family

Thursday morning Christian took Margaret, Emma, Tullis and Jane to the top of the Pass so the Bossiers could check out the view.  Here are some shots they got...

Not that Tullis and Jane don't love Emma cause they do, but you could really tell how much they miss Grace, by how hard they latched onto Emma!

Jane Lost a Tooth!!!

Grace was in 2nd Grade before she lost a tooth and Jane lost one last Wednesday at Tullis' soccer game.  After she got over the blood she was very excited!  Here are a few shots of the "hole" as well as some of Tullis' soccer game.
