Some random Pictures

Lynn brought the horses down from Trail Creek (to the arena right in Wilson) and we stopped by.  Both Jane and Tullis got on, but I only got a couple of shots of Jane.  They were both so excited!  Megan just led them around, but they loved it!

These are "our" moose a couple of nights before in the neighbor's yard.

Before we got the real camera here are a couple I took on the phone.

OK.  Frost on the ground this am.  Took these pictures at 9 this morning.

String Lake

Christian and the kids went to String Lake in Teton National this week.  Here are some shots from that excursion.

Leigh...knew you would love his outfit of choice!

MOOSE!

Christian has been seeing a mama moose and 2 babies in the neighborhood and we actually caught them crossing the road and eating a neighbors tree one evening.  Well,  when Christian and Grace were coming home from volleyball practice what do they find but said mama and babies resting in our yard.  I must admit it was the coolest thing.  Following are tons of pictures as they moved back along the house as the sun moved, got up to eat from the garden (would have irritated me, but I didn't plant it...oh to be a renter!) and moved to the front to snack some more.

Outside the den window

Outside our bedroom window

Headed to the back...eating on the way

Eating the bushes on the side of the yard

Eating the garden

Guess he got tired of stretching his neck!

Headed back to the front

Out the front window

In the driveway

Mama came out from the side and caught Grace and me on the front porch.  Nothing between us so this one and the next are a little clearer.

Also clearer cause we took these from the upstairs little porch

Headed across the driveway

This really was a very cool experience.  As Christian says it was like being in a Zoo!  We didn't get a picture, but 2 days later we saw them again standing in Fish Creek.  Funny to see the tubers just float on by!
